The cable tray forming machine is a specialized equipment that uses cold bending technology to process metal coils into cable trays (trough, ladder, tray) for cable laying. It is a cold bending machine used in the production of cable wiring systems in the power and construction industries.
Function of cable tray forming machine:
Raw materials such as steel strips, galvanized strips, and stainless steel strips are processed into cable tray bodies (troughs, ladders, trays) of different specifications in one go through continuous processes such as unwinding, leveling, punching, progressive cold bending, and fixed length cutting, which are directly used for cable support, protection, and laying.
Core structure
Unwinding unit: equipped with heavy-duty unwinding racks, tension control, and correction devices, suitable for heavy-duty raw material coils, ensuring smooth unwinding without deviation.
Leveling unit: Multiple sets of high-precision leveling rollers are used to correct the wave patterns and warping of raw materials, ensuring a smooth and wrinkle free surface of the bridge after forming.
Forming host: The core component is designed with multiple composition rollers according to the cross-sectional shape of the bridge (groove U-shaped, ladder grid, tray type), gradually rolled into shape through cold bending technology, and the roller system is made of wear-resistant materials to ensure forming accuracy.
Auxiliary unit: including punching device (for processing installation holes and connection holes), cutting device (hydraulic/flying saw cutting, with smooth and burr free cuts), and ladder bridge models are also equipped with horizontal bar welding or assembly mechanisms.
Electric control system: PLC intelligent control, supports setting of bridge width, height, length, and forming speed parameters, touch screen operation, can store multiple specification parameters, and is easy to change.
Features of the equipment
High molding accuracy: The width and height dimensions of the bridge frame have an error of ≤± 0.3mm, the wall thickness is uniform, the groove body is regular, and the splicing and fitting are tight, ensuring installation stability.
Wide adaptability: capable of processing steel strips, galvanized strips, stainless steel strips, etc. with a thickness of 0.8-3.0mm, supporting various types such as groove, ladder, tray, etc. The bridge width is 100-800mm and the height is 50-200mm, which can be flexibly adjusted.
High production efficiency: molding speed of 10-30m/min, continuous automated operation, single shift can produce several kilometers of cable trays, suitable for engineering batch supply needs.
Flexible functionality: Some models support "one machine for multiple uses" and can switch between different types of bridge production. Changing the type only requires adjusting the forming roller or replacing the dedicated mold, resulting in low maintenance costs.
