The downspout forming machine processes metal coils into downspouts of different cross-sections, such as circular and rectangular, in one go to meet the drainage specifications of different buildings.

After forming, the cross-section of the downspout is regular and the interface is tight, avoiding water leakage. At the same time, the surface is flat and the wall thickness is uniform, improving corrosion resistance and service life.

Key Points for Selection of Downpipe Forming Machine

Matching processing material and thickness: Select the machine model based on the required raw materials (steel strip, galvanized strip, stainless steel strip, etc.), confirm the thickness range of the sheet metal that the equipment is compatible with (usually 0.3-1.2mm), and avoid exceeding the equipment's load-bearing capacity in terms of material or thickness.

Corresponding specifications and shapes of downspouts: Clearly define the cross-sectional shape (circular/rectangular), diameter/side length range (circular 50-200mm, rectangular 50 × 50-150 × 100mm, etc.) of the required downspout, and choose a model that supports this specification and can be flexibly adjusted. If multiple specifications are needed for production, priority should be given to quick change models.

Pay attention to molding accuracy and quality: focus on checking the size error of the equipment (≤± 0.3mm is better), the flatness of the incision, and the molding effect of the interface to ensure the sealing of the downspout splicing and avoid water leakage during drainage.

Based on production efficiency requirements: Choose the molding speed (usually 10-25m/min) according to the engineering supply quantity, prioritize high-speed models for large-scale projects, and confirm the stability of equipment continuous operation.

Considering operation and maintenance costs: Priority should be given to models with PLC electronic control and touch screen operation, which have convenient parameter settings and fast changeover; Pay attention to the wear resistance of the equipment roller system, the difficulty of replacing vulnerable parts, and reduce long-term maintenance costs.

Verify additional functional requirements: If a fixed hole needs to be installed, choose a model with a punching device; To protect the surface of the pipe, models with film coating function can be selected according to actual process requirements.
