Drainage pipe forming machine is a cold bending equipment specifically designed for the continuous production of metal drainage pipes (i.e. downspouts/rainwater pipes) used in building roof drainage systems. It uses cold bending and rolling technology to shape metal coils into specific shapes and close seams, forming a sturdy and leak proof pipeline.

Metal drainage pipes are mainly used to collect rainwater from building roofs and systematically guide it to ground or underground drainage systems.

Common shapes:

Circular drainage pipe: the most classic style, with good drainage performance and the widest application.

Square/rectangular drainage pipes: more modern and decorative, can better integrate with building facades.

K-type drainage pipe (common in Europe and America): The back is flat, with decorative protrusions on the front, classical and beautiful.

The drainage pipe forming machine is an automated machine used to produce pipes of different shapes.

A fully automatic drainage pipe forming production line usually includes:

Material rack (uncoiler):

Used for carrying and unfolding metal raw material coils (such as galvanized steel plates, color steel plates, aluminum coils).

Leveling device:

Key components. Used to eliminate the original bending stress (wave edge, ladle bending) of the coil, ensuring that the strip entering the forming machine is absolutely straight, which is the prerequisite for ensuring that the final drainage pipe is straight and not twisted.

Molding host (core part):

Composed of multiple (usually 10-20) high-precision forming rolls.

Each rolling mill undergoes a small, progressive bending of the strip.

Core action: Gradually curl the flat plate and finally use a closing roller to tightly bite the seam, forming a complete pipeline.

Fixed length cutting system:

When the continuously formed drainage pipe reaches the preset length, precise cutting is performed.

Cut off method:

Hydraulic cutting: Low cost, but the incision may have slight deformation.

Flying saw/servo cutting: high-end configuration. During cutting, the saw blade moves synchronously with the pipeline to achieve dynamic cutting. The incision is smooth, without burrs, with extremely high precision, and the best appearance quality.

Electric control system:

Based on PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and touch screen as the core.

Function: Control the operation of the entire line, set parameters such as pipe length, production speed, quantity, etc., to achieve automated production.

Discharge rack/receiving station:

Used to receive and collect cut finished drainage pipes.
