The metal slitting machine is a device used in the metal sheet slitting production line, specifically for longitudinal slitting of wide metal coils, and is a key standalone machine in the metal processing industry.

core functionality

Focusing on the core process of "slitting", the entire roll of wide metal plate (such as steel plate, stainless steel plate, aluminum plate, etc.) is longitudinally cut into multiple narrow coil materials according to the preset width, protecting the edges of the cut coil materials to be flat and consistent in width, and adapting to subsequent processing needs.

Core structure

Knife shaft component: The core working component is equipped with multiple sets of precision suitable disc cutting tools, and the tool spacing can be finely adjusted to determine the cutting width.

Tension control device: Maintain stable tension of the sheet during the slitting process, avoiding stretching, wrinkling, or deviation.

Correction device: Real time correction of the running trajectory of the board, confirming the detailed cutting position, especially suitable for wide or thin specification boards.

Drive system: It is driven by a variable frequency motor, which can adjust the cutting speed to ensure smooth operation and sufficient power.

Electrical control system: mostly controlled by PLC, supporting width parameter setting and speed adjustment. Some models have touch screen operation, which is intuitive and convenient.

Good cutting accuracy: The width error can be controlled within ± 0.1-0.3mm, and there are no burrs or curled edges on the edges, meeting the requirements of suitable machining accuracy.

Strong adaptability: It can process various materials such as cold-rolled plate, hot-rolled plate, stainless steel plate, aluminum plate, galvanized plate, etc. The thickness of the plate usually covers 0.1-6mm, and the width can be adapted to 300-2000mm.

Easy to operate: flexible parameter adjustment, simplified tool changing and adjustment process, some models support speed suitable tool changing, improving tool changing efficiency.

Stable operation: Adopting a rigid frame design to reduce vibration during the slitting process and protect the stability of long-term continuous operation.
