The metal sheet slitting production line is an automated complete set of equipment used for finely slitting wide metal coils into multiple narrow coils, widely used in industries such as steel and non-ferrous metal processing.
core functionality
Through continuous processes such as unwinding, leveling, slitting, and rewinding, the entire roll of wide metal plates (such as steel plates, aluminum plates, stainless steel plates, etc.) is cut into multiple narrow finished coils according to the preset width, meeting the specification requirements for subsequent processing (such as stamping, bending, and forming).
Equipment Composition
Unwinding unit: carrying the entire roll of raw materials, equipped with tension control device, ensuring smooth unwinding without deviation.
Leveling unit: corrects the warping and wavy patterns of the raw material board, protects the flatness of the board, and lays the foundation for meticulous cutting.
Cutting unit: the core component that vertically cuts the sheet metal using multiple sets of disc cutting tools, with adjustable tool spacing according to requirements.
Roll up unit: neatly roll up the narrow coil after cutting, equipped with tension adjustment and correction devices to protect the tight and even edges of the roll.
Electric control system: Adopting PLC control, it can set parameters such as cutting width and speed to achieve precise automation control.
Features of the equipment
Good cutting accuracy: The cutting tool adopts a precision suitable processing technology, combined with a correction device, the cutting edge is flat and free of burrs, and the width error can be controlled within ± 0.1-0.3mm.
Good degree of automation: The entire process from unwinding to rewinding is automated, requiring only 1-2 people to operate, and can be produced continuously for 24 hours.
Wide applicability: It can process various metal materials such as cold-rolled plate, hot-rolled plate, stainless steel plate, aluminum plate, galvanized plate, etc. The thickness of the plate is usually 0.1-6mm, and the width can cover 300-2000mm.
Flexible adjustment: By adjusting the tool spacing and winding tension, the speed can be adapted to different cutting widths (usually 50-1500mm) and material requirements, and the changeover efficiency is good.
