The rolling shutter door forming machine is a specialized cold bending equipment used for continuous production of metal rolling shutter doors (also known as "rolling shutter doors"). It uses a precision rolling mill system to automatically and efficiently roll color steel plates, aluminum alloy plates, and other rolls into standardized rolling shutter door panels.

1、 Core components

A complete rolling shutter door molding production line usually includes:

Material rack (uncoiler): used to carry and unfold raw material coils.

Guidance and leveling device: Ensure that the coil is flat and centered when entering the host, which is the key to ensuring that the door panel is straight and not twisted.

Molding host (core part):

Contains multiple (usually 10-20) precision designed forming rolls.

Each rolling mill undergoes a small, progressive bending of the sheet metal, ultimately forming a complete door section with a specific hook groove structure at the exit.

Stamping unit (optional but common):

Punching: Punching holes on the door panel for installing anti-theft lock tongues.

Punching/embossing: Pressing decorative patterns or reinforcing ribs on the door panel, which is both beautiful and can increase strength.

Fixed length cutting system:

When the door panel reaches the preset length, it automatically cuts. The cutting methods include hydraulic cutting, pneumatic cutting, etc. It is required that the incision is neat and does not affect the overlap.

Control system:

By using PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and touch screen, operators can easily set parameters such as door length, production quantity, speed, etc.

Roll up → Unroll leveling → Guided feeding → Progressive roll forming → (online punching/embossing) → Fixed length measurement and cutting → Finished product output

4、 Types of door panels produced

The rolling shutter door forming machine mainly produces two mainstream structures of door panels:

Classic (ordinary) type rolling shutter door panel:

The cross-section is relatively simple, connected to each other through the hook grooves on both sides of the door panel. Low cost, widely used in shops, garages, etc.

Strengthen (windproof) type rolling shutter door:

The cross-sectional structure is more complex, usually with a double-layer hollow structure and filled with polyurethane foam material in the middle.

Features: High strength, strong wind pressure resistance, good insulation and sound insulation performance. Commonly used in places with higher requirements for safety and performance.

5、 Selection precautions

When choosing a rolling shutter door molding machine, it is important to pay attention to the following technical parameters:

Processing material: Types of materials that can be processed (galvanized sheet, color steel sheet, aluminum alloy sheet) and thickness range (such as 0.3mm-1.0mm).

Raw material width: determines the maximum effective width of the door panels that can be produced.

Molding speed: directly affects production efficiency.

Cutting accuracy: the range of error in cutting length.

Roller material and process: High quality alloy steel rollers, which have undergone heat treatment, are the guarantee for the long-term stable operation of the equipment.

Whether online punching/embossing function is required: choose according to product requirements.
