The fully automated production of the downspout forming machine greatly reduces the reliance on skilled workers. Usually, 1-2 people can operate the entire production line, reducing labor and management costs.
The forming process of the downspout is a highly coordinated "progressive deformation" process. It uses the precise coordination of multiple rollers to gradually and controllably roll flat metal strips into a closed, continuous, and high-strength pipeline, like folding paper. The entire process is efficient, automated, and of stable quality, making it a model for modern industrial construction production.
The fundamental function of the downspout forming machine is to complete an automated and continuous deformation process:
Input (raw material): coiled metal strip (such as galvanized steel plate, color coated plate, aluminum coil).
↓ (via downspout forming machine)
Output (product): Finished downspouts with specific shapes (circular, square, etc.), specific lengths, and sealed interfaces.
This "transformation" process is specifically decomposed into the following key functions:
Forming function: By a series of precision rollers, a flat metal strip is gradually and repeatedly rolled into a predetermined pipe shape (such as circular, square, or rectangular). This is the most essential mechanical function.
Closing and seam locking function: In the final stage of the forming process, the edges of the pipeline are tightly interlocked by a specialized "closing roller" to form a sturdy and leak proof seam. This is the technical key to ensuring that the downspout does not leak.
Fixed length cutting function: According to the preset installation length requirements (such as 2 meters, 3 meters, or 4 meters), the continuously formed pipeline is accurately and automatically cut to obtain downspouts that can be directly used for installation.
Leveling and guiding function: Before forming, the coil is first leveled to eliminate its inherent bending stress, ensuring that the produced downpipe is straight and not twisted, and ensuring smooth and beautiful installation.
